The revamped Champions League format is now in it’s third season, and we will continue to review the kits worn in each Matchweek, much like the Premier League Kit Reviews.
Match 3 sees the games played over two days, with nine games on Tuesday and nine on a Wednesday with these games played across Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st October 2026.
The current Kit Overview for Kits worn by The Champions League Teams.

This gives 103 of the 108 Kits of the 36 Teams, but there will be more thanks to the missing 3rd Kits as well as 4th Kits / Cup Kits that we are likely to see in use over the coming months!

Kit Highlights
The following teams have worn three different kit looks in their opening three games – Arsenal, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Feyenoord, Lens, Manchester United, PSV Eindhoven, RB Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk, Slavia Prague, Slovan Bratislava.
Out of these teams five have worn Home, Away and 3rd Kits, Feyenoord, Lens, Manchester United, RB Leipzig and Slavia Prague… there is also Barcelona but we will get to that!
On the flip side of this there are 10 teams that have worn a single kit look in their three games – Bodø/Glimt, Inter Milan, LASK, PSG, Real Betis, Real Madrid, Roma, Sabah, Sporting CP, Stuttgart.

The only place to start is with Barcelona, UEFA and TV Production companies made the call that the current set of Barcelona Kits did not provide enough of contrast to the current PSG Home Kit, this meant that it was a return of the salmon pink 3rd Kit from last season.

Borussia Dortmund who last week we discussed rarely deviate from their home kit in Champions League, made it three Kits in the opening three matches, when they wore alternative yellow shorts, for an all yellow look at Sabah.

Bayern Munich wore their default domestic Home kit look with constrasting white socks with their red shirt and shorts.

My favourite Kit Match of the week was the game between Porto and PSV Eindhoven, to classic European clubs playing against each other in their Home Kits, with PSV using alternative red socks to provide a contrasting sock colour.
