New Kits this Matchweek

New Outfield Kits:

Nottingham Forest, Away with alternative off white shorts and socks.

Fuham, Home with alternative black socks.

Kit Highlights

Nottingham Forest in their 5th different kit variation of the season, the joint highest in Premier League (with Manchester United) and are yet to wear the same kit twice in an away game this season.

Fulham in their 4th different kit look of the season, wearing their alternative black socks with their Home Kit for the first time in the League having already used this look in the Carabao Cup (against West Ham United).

Sunderland made zero for three in their Away Kit, the joint most used away kit so far this season, however they have lost in its three apperances.

Arsenal wore their 3rd Kit for the fourth time in League this season, and for the third time wore the kit with it’s alternative yellow socks.

Everton who played Newcastle United twice in five days, also wore alternative blue shorts for their all blue look for the second Premier League game in a row!

My favourite “Kit Match Up” of the Matchweek was the game between Brentford and Nottingham Forest, there are not often surprises in the Kit World nowadays with all details of kits and their alternative elements being released, so seeing Nottingham Forest going with an off white / cream alternative colour with their away kit was one of these surprises…!

Kit News

It is being reported by our friends at Footy Headlines that Adidas are looking to create bespoke goalkeeper kits for their clubs from next season. Currently they only do this for two clubs in their portfolio, one of them being Liverpool. This is something I have been calling for over the past few years, so glad to see it coming to light now. More details can be found here.
