Kit Highlights
This is the first week of the 2026/27 Season with no new Goalkeeper Kits in a matchweek.
Tottenham Hotspur played a Premier League game this season for the first time NOT wearing white socks, using alternative navy socks with their Home Kit at Chelsea, previously wearing their default home look with white socks and their Away with white socks twice.
Brentford and Everton made it four different Kit Looks for the season with alternative Home Kit looks this weekend.
AFC Bournemouth and Manchester City completed Home, Away and 3rd Kits to be used in Premier League this season, there are still six teams to complete their sets in the League.
My favourite “Kit Match Up” of the Matchweek was the game between Hull City and Brentford, the Hull City Home Kit is one of my favourite of the season and I was interested to see how Brentford matched up against it, and the use of white socks gave us two nice striped kits up against each other, something we do not see often in Premier League nowadays.
Kit Stats
Overall we have seen 15 Home Kits, 3 Away and 2 Third Kit in action this weekend.
There were five Kit Variation used in this Matchweek
- Manchester City – 3rd with alternative navy socks
- Everton – Home with alternative blue shorts
- Tottenham Hotspur – Home with alternative navy socks
- Brentford – Home with white socks
- Leeds United – Away with alternative white shorts
