The Premier League returns after last weekend’s FA Cup 4th Round, with these matches played across three days on Saturday 21st February and Monday 23rd February 2026.
They are the return fixtures of the round of fixtures played in Matchweek 12 , which was the first round of mid-week games this season on between the 22nd and 24th November 2025.

There was one new Goalkeeper Kit Look used this weekend, Brighton using white socks
Kit Highlights
This Matchweek was the first of this season NOT to feature a new Kit Look, well an outfield look that is as we did see a new Goalkeeper Kit. For comparison, last season the first Matchweek where there was no new outfield kit was Matchweek 19 (4th to 6th January 2025).
Chelsea debuted their new front of shirt sponsor, IFS a provider of Industrial AI. In the communication about this deal, it is described as a Multi-Year partnership, however it is only confirmed as a front of shirt detail for the remainder of the 2025 / 26 season.
James Milner broke the record for the most Premier League games played this weekend, his start from Brighton & Hove Albion against Brentford was his 654th Game across 23 seasons. He carried “654” on his boots and there was also a hand-written gesture within the collar of this match shirt… will we see something more official in the coming weeks?
Newcastle United playing at Manchester City was an interesting kit story, we often see Manchester City play teams in darker shades of blue with no change, however this game saw Newcastle United change into blue, probably the least likely of the their kits to be used but it still worked for me, maybe this was used as a change of luck after wearing their Home Kit in their recent Carabao Cup Semi-Final game earlier this month.
My favourite “Kit Match Up” of the Matchweek was the game between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool, with two classic looking kits on show, I was secretly hoping we would see Liverpool in their 3rd Kit (all green variation), to replicate the opening “Super Sunday” fixture in 1992 (Forest also wearing a kit that resembles that look) but this match up was worked very well.

Kit News
The main news was the announcement of the Chelsea front of shirt sponsorship deal which as mentioned above as part of the weekly highlights.
Puma launched their final official Premier League Ball of the season, called the “Thrill” Ball, this will be used in the final games of the season. This is the first season that Puma have been supplying balls in the Premier League and this will be 4th ball launched this season, with the original ball used at the start of the season, the winter yellow ball and an unused orange “Snow” Ball.
